LARC Facilities

The Laboratory for Recreational Computing has approximately 570 square feet of laboratory space in Room F206 at the University of North Texas Discovery Park campus. Directions are available.

The Workstations

We currently have 12 identical workstations dual booting Windows Vista Enterprise and Windows XP Professional, and two servers running Linux. The compiler of choice for the lab is Visual Studio .NET 2008, and we are currently developing with DirectX 9.0 and DirectX 10.0. All workstations have dual 24 inch widescreen Monitors.
